.Students will work through the end of unit reflection process having completed their childrens audiobooks/read alongs.

Students will be introduced to the Central Idea and lines of inquiry for the 5th Unit of Inquiry before completing initial thoughts and feeling based activites.

Students, will strengthen understanding of relevent literacy skills using the Century program.Students are afforded the time to make amendments/final touches to their final submissions in Unit 4.

Students will reflect on the knowledge acquired through the inquiry process of Unit 4.

What did we learn?

Students will be introduced to the Central Idea for the fifth Unit of Inquiry.

Invention and Discovery can Shape and Change the World.

Students are to login to century.tech identifying the highlighted 'nuggets' for the day located on the students 'learning path'Students are to reflect on the feedback from the Unit 4 final submissions.
Step 2Prepare previous work that has been sent on screen or printed version.  

Students will reflect on their transdisciplinary skills (focus on thinking and communication) through the inquiry process of unit 4.

What skills did we acquire?

Students will be introduced to the lines of inquiry for the fifth unit of inquiry. 

* Reasons for invention and discovery.

* How discoveries have taken place over time.

* The impact of inventions of discovery.

Students are to complete the following nuggets during this period.

*Finding Meaning in Paragraphs and Images.

*Layouts

*Headings, Subheadings and Paragraphs

*Apostrophes of Posession.

Students are to make amendments, improvements where felt necessary.

Students will identify strengths and areas for improvement moving forward in keeping with the learner profile traits.

Students will begin to look at the first line of inquiry, sharing early thoughts and feelings, looking to define invention and discovery and early theories why we as a race invent and continue to try and discover.Students are to reflect on their lowest scoring nugget and aim to repeat, to improve the score in that area.Students are to email final submissions to mark.wragg@exupery.lv
