Step 2Based on teacher's feedback on CD, add what is missing or correct spelling mistakes. Will learn new way of adding numbers using ten strips and one cubes   
Step 3Write the next section of the story. This is the time students will add a problem and will start thinking about the solution. Will work on their own to show if the lesson target has been acquired.

Step 1 At the beginning of the lesson there will be a review from the previous lesson. Students will share what they remember and what are the steps for adding tens strips and one cubes. Students will be adding the last part of their story. What happened at the end of the story- conclusion. While reading, students need to think about story elements- characteristics, problem, solution, setting.  
Step 2 Students will practice adding numbers using tens and ones on their own. Go over the whole story and see what is missing and correct their mistakes if they see any.

You do not need to do anything to prepare for this lesson.

There are no materials to print for this lesson.

While reading, students need to think about story elements- characteristics, problem, solution, setting. 
 
Step 2Teacher will give math problems and will ask students to tell every step they need to do to add two digit numbers with regrouping.

English Support: prepare the resources needed for the lesson (notebook or paper, writing pencil or pen, etc.)

After class, without an adult, complete the placement test for Reading Eggs.  
Step 3Teacher will provide math problems and students will have to do them on their own.
